Newcastle defender Tino Livramento has been dropped from England squad for Monday’s World Cup qualifier against Latvia.

The 22-year-old was an unused substitute for England’s 2-0 win over Albania at Wembley on Friday. Thomas Tuchel selected a 26-man squad for the games against Albania and Latvia but UEFA rules limit the number of players allowed in each game to 23.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White ทางเข้า UFABET สำหรับสมาชิกใหม่ สมัครวันนี้ รับโบนัสฟรี and Liverpool defender Jarrell Quansah, who both missed Friday’s game, return to the squad, while Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon has withdrawn from the squad due to injury and has already returned to his club. Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was again left out of the England squad for Latvia.

“We have to get the processes right, to find the best group of players,” Tuchel said.

“If it means leaving very, very good and talented players out of the squad then this can happen. In the next 16 months, the important thing is to find the right squad, not the most talented 26 players. “We have to get the squad right, we have to get the spirit of the team right. Because playing in the qualifying round is one thing, but playing in a football tournament is another.”
